Coach AJ is a longtime member of the Glenwood Tigers, and he swims competitively for RMSC. In addition to swimming, AJ enjoys biking and playing golf and lacrosse. In the future AJ hopes to travel the world, but for now he's excited about the prospect of meeting new people and just having fun this summer. AJ hopes that his work with the Parkland Whales will help them become faster, more skilled swimmers who are motivated to continue improving in the future.
I’ve been on swim team since I was 6 years old. One of my favorite times of the year is summer, purely because of summer swim. I love the opportunity to be friends with a community of kids ranging in age from 8 to 18! I love that big kids cheer for little kids and little kids cheer for big kids!I swam for RMSC and Tollefsen and currently swim for my high school swim team. When I’m not swimming I love to ski, play golf, and mountain bike. I am excited to bring spirit and a love of swimming to more Parkland Whales!
Coach Maya is on the swim team at Albert Einstein High School, swims year-round for Machine Aquatics, and is a longtime Glenwood tiger. Outside of swimming, Maya loves photography, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She has been a camp counselor in the past and can’t wait to bring her experience and love for swimming to the Parkland community. Maya is so excited to help the Parkland whales have a blast and learn to love swimming!
I am currently a rising senior at DeMatha Catholic High School. I currently am playing lacrosse and swimming for DeMatha. I joined my summer team when I was 7 and ever since then have been swimming as a member of the same team as well as RMSC and Ncap. When I am not playing sports I enjoy going to the gym, watching sports and going to the beach.
